WebSphere Portal Architect
• Minimum/General Experience: Responsible for the end to end integration of the component in the infrastructure. Candidate has experience in portal design,development and portal administration.
• Functional Responsibility: Responsible for:
o installing WeSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal Server
o configuring WebSphere Portal Server (Portal Enable, Portal Collaboration, Portal Server)
o troubleshooting Portal Server concerns.
o performance and Application monitoring of Portal Application
o Deploying portlets and enterprise Architecture
o Design and implement WAS High Availability (HA)
o Configure Single Sign On
o Configure Sun Access Manager and LDAP
o Clustering WebSphere Application Server
• Functional Responsibility:
o Responsible for making sure business and functional requirement are implemented using best practice.
o Responsible for making sure application component are configured correctly
o Responsible for making sure Application work correctly end to end
o Provide guidance to developers and Administrator
IBM Portal Admin or Websphere Admin Certification a plus
