Responsibilities:
1. Administration and Configuration of web application environments running on IBM
WebSphere Application Server 5X, IBM WebSphere Portal, and Apache Web Servers
2. Provide web architecture expertise to assist in delivering solution architectures for web
and portal projects
3. Act as J2EE server SME for development projects
4. Participate in on-call rotation support of 24x7 environment
Experience with:
Administration of WebSphere applications server and portal
Administration and Configuration of Apache Web Server
Supporting a 24x7 Web-hosting environment
Linux and Windows Administration
Java Programming a plus
LDAP and related utilities
HP-UX Administration a plus
Novell Identity Manager a plus
Shell Scripting is a plus
F5 Big IP or load balancing software is also a plus
Problem solving skills, customer service skills, work in a team environment, ability to learn new technologies in a fast paced environment
